Commercial Account Sales Rep – Remote Video Security Sales

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Commercial Account Sales Rep to join our Remote Video team. You will be responsible for prospecting, cultivating and developing commercial alarm dealers and video monitoring companies in the Remote Video Security space. Experience selling into these markets is a plus.

We desire candidates who are highly coachable and eager to learn, with at least three years of experience selling video security-related applications.

On-target earnings for this role are $75,000 to $125,000 (base salary plus commissions), with significant upside potential based on your success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Account Development: Source, develop, acquire and retain new accounts, plus build on SightLogix’s established relationships to generate steady revenue streams.
  • Selling Skills: Experience and success in consistently meeting a sales quota and other defined revenue targets
  • Customer Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with security dealers. Act as the primary point of contact for all customer inquiries and support needs.
  • Product Expertise: Become an expert in our smart thermal video security technology and its applications. Stay up-to-date with product developments and industry trends.
  • Training and Support: Provide comprehensive training to security dealers on product features, benefits, and best practices. Conduct regular webinars, workshops, and one-on-one sessions to ensure the sales team is well-equipped to promote and sell our products.
  • Creative Problem Solving: Use your creativity and problem-solving skills to address customer challenges and ensure they get the most value from our products.
  • Positive Engagement: Foster a positive and energized relationship with customers. Ensure they feel valued and supported at every stage of their journey with us.
  • Feedback Loop: Gather and relay customer feedback to our product development team to ensure continuous improvement and alignment with customer needs
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor customer success metrics and provide regular reports to senior management. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in account management within the physical security sector.
  • Familiarity with Remote Video Monitoring applications and third-party monitoring firms
  • Strong understanding of video security technology and its applications, or a deep desire to learn and become proficient.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to convey complex technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Creative, friendly, and positive attitude with a passion for helping customers succeed.
  • Ability to energize and inspire others, including the ability to train and motivate sales teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting while maintaining strong connections with the team and customers.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other customer success tools.
