Geo-Registered Situational Awareness

Knowing the precise location and nature of an intrusion is essential for effective outdoor security

The SightLogix automated surveillance system provides complete situational awareness through the geo-registration and tracking of all targets and security policies, while utilizing this information to set security rules based on target size and velocity for more accurate outdoor video analytics.

The same GIS information also enables the SightTracker to automatically position a pan-tilt-zoom camera to provide an up-close view of a target – particularly important over large outdoor areas – while also providing highly detailed images for forensic investigations.

SightLogix systems provide accurate location/positioning assessment by superimposing the threat location directly on a map of the facility, displayed in real time on the SightLogix geo-registered SightMonitor or on any C² system without the need for middleware.

Geo-Registered Surveillance

The SightMonitor shows the precise location and status of all cameras and targets, providing situational awareness that is both intuitive and constant. This at-a-glance multi-sensor, multi-target view displays the security posture status and increases the ability to respond to multi-target, coordinated intrusion attempts.

Target geo-spatial data can be sent directly to first responders, allowing for a more pre-emptive and decisive neutralization of security threats and violations.

Geo-registering the SightSensors and configuring the SightMap can be accomplished within minutes by a single person using the SightLogix User Interface alone, with no need for placing known-sized targets or GPS receivers in the field.

Unlike other analytics systems, the SightLogix system geo-registers security zones, providing the unique capability to distinguish between normal activity within the secure area and violations of security policies along the outside of a perimeter.

Geo-Registered SurveillanceThis 3-D capability means that SightSensors can be positioned on existing structures well inside the secured area, looking outward to the perimeter, eliminating the need for costly perimeter infrastructure.
