Finding the right intelligent video solution for securing outdoor environments can be a challenge. Moving foliage, reflections, wind, clouds, rain — even ripples in water can trigger nuisance alarms, or worse, trick the video analytics to miss actual security violations. Challenges or not, security customers still need to be alerted in real-time of possible intrusions happening anywhere over a wide area, and they need to be able to trust the validity of an alarm when one occurs. The answer is to deploy intelligent video systems that are specifically designed to accurately detect in a wide range of outdoor environments, while addressing the core issue of nuisance alarms. The good news is that they are also surprisingly affordable.
